REGISTRATION TO THE EUROPEAN YOUTH PORTAL
and
GET PERSONAL REFERENCE NUMBER (PRN)
1. Go to https://youth.europa.eu/home
2. Scroll down on the opened web page. Find the “Learn about European Union initiatives for youth” section and click on the “Read more” option in the “European Solidarity Corps” tab.
3. On the page that opens, click on the "Register / Login" option in the section that says "I am a young person".
4. Click on the “REGISTER” option on the newly opened page.
5. On the page that opens, select your country which you are living from "Country of residence", enter your date of birth in Birthdate as "Day-Month-Year" and then click "SUBMIT".
6. Check the 3 checkboxes on the page that opens and then click the “REGISTER / LOGIN TO EU LOGIN” button.
7. It will redirect you to the EU LOGIN page. Click on the “Create an account” link here.
8. On the page that opens, fill in your Name, Surname and E-Mail information, then tick the checkbox and press the “Create an account” button.
A VERIFICATION CODE WILL BE RECEIVED TO YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS. TO AVOID PROBLEMS IN THE FUTURE, PLEASE ENTER THE E-MAIL ADDRESS YOU ACTIVELY USE.
9. If you have done the above steps correctly, the following screen will appear.
10. Now go to your email address and click on “this link” in the “To create your password, follow the link below:” section.
11. Create your password from the window that opens.
THIS PASSWORD WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO EDIT YOUR PROFILE IN THE FUTURE. SO SET A PASSWORD THAT YOU WILL NOT FORGET.
12. After creating your password, click the “Proced” button in the window that opens.
13. When you click on the “Proced” button in the previous step, it will redirect you to the “European Solidarity Corps” page.
14. Now you can start creating your profile. Fill in the “Your personnel data” section.
15. Check both options in the “Volunteering, Occupational and Humanitarian projects” section.
16. “What kinds of European Solidarity Corps projects are you interested in?” Check all the options in the section.
17. “What experience and knowledge could you bring to the European Solidarity Corps?” Check all the options in the section.
18. Select “No” in the “European Voluntary Service” section and check the checkbox in the “Contact agreement” section. Then finish creating your profile by clicking the “SAVE” button.
19. If you have completed all the steps correctly, the following screen will appear and “Profile successfully created.” you will receive the message. By clicking on the “MY PROFILE” tab, you can go to your profile and answer the relevant questions.
20. When you click on the "MY PROFILE" button, you will be greeted with a screen like the one below. First, go to the "Humanitarian aid volunteering projects" section and fill it in. Otherwise it will give an error.
21. Now you can fill “Your Personal Data”, "Project information" and "Volunteering Projects" sections.
22. When you finish all these processes, you will receive the following email containing your PERSONAL REFERENCE NUMBER (PRN) number.
